LOUIS Implements New Discovery Solution for Twelve Campuses

Baton Rouge, Louisiana: LOUIS has implemented SirsiDynix’s discovery system, Enterprise, as a new discovery solution for the following colleges and universities in Louisiana:

This system will be integrated with the existing discovery system, EBSCO Discovery Service, and will eventually replace the current public library catalog for these campuses. This discovery solution provides users with a more modern interface than the traditional library catalog, as well as a more Google-like search experience for the discovery of both physical and electronic scholarly content.

Each library will continue to enhance the look and feel of their instance of Enterprise to provide their end users the best library experience possible. Each campus will determine a go-live date soon.
