Faculty Cohort Program

The LOUIS OER Commons Faculty Cohort Program works to create an environment of support and shared learning for faculty interested in exploring Open Educational Resources within their discipline. Awards will be available for faculty to provide peer review of openly-licensed materials and design a course syllabus around open content. We invite proposals in accordance with the CFP.

March 2 – May 4, 2020: Proposals system open for submissions

May 4, 2020: Proposal deadline at 11:59 PM Central

May 5 – May 8, 2020: Proposals reviewed by LOUIS staff

May 8, 2020: Announcement of awards

May 15, 2020: Awardee online kickoff

Summer 2020: Engagement in the learning community


We will host webinars to provide guidance on the application process and to answer questions about program requirements.
