
Teri Oaks Gallaway, Ph.D., Associate Commissioner of LOUIS, joined The Louisiana Library Network in 2015 after ten years as library faculty at Loyola University New Orleans where she held positions as the Associate Director of Research and Technology for the Honors Program, and the Systems and Web Coordinator. She holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in music from Bowling Green State University in Ohio, a Master of Science in Information from University of Michigan, and a doctorate from Louisiana State University in educational research and leadership. At LOUIS she serves in the capacity of Executive Director as well as the project lead for the Affordable Learning LOUISiana initiative. Her research explores the opportunities and outcomes of open educational resource (OER) programs and their institutional impacts.
