
Zehra “ZeeZee” Zamin was one of the core members of LOUIS, joining in January 1993. She was instrumental in converting libraries from card catalogs to the NOTIS online system and was also responsible for data loads for government documents, authorities, vendor records, and was the project lead for ILLiad the inter-library loan system. In 2001-02 she was co-project lead in migrating the consortium libraries to the SirsiDynix ILS. Currently she is the project lead for Louisiana Digital Library, Electronic Resources, including “mini-consortia”, and consortium discussion lists. She is on the EBSCO Advisory Council for eBooks & Audiobooks. ZeeZee has M.A.(English Literature), M.Ed (Admin), MLIS from LSU.
She loves to travel and and has experienced the best of both the worlds East and West. She was fortunate enough to have lived and traveled extensively in Europe, Africa and the East. She loves to visit or “re-visit” different countries whenever possible, is a voracious reader and enjoys gardening and yoga. These days she is having fun learning to fly radio controlled planes with her nephews.
