Affordable Learning Projects: Round 6

Affordable Learning LOUISiana is now seeking proposals for Round 6 of our Affordable Learning Projects. These projects are funded to help promote the use of no-cost or low-cost materials in the classroom, thereby saving students money. Round 6 projects will cover the 2018 spring and summer semesters.

Curriculum Driven Acquisitions Projects

These projects identify, and add to the library's collection through purchase, eBooks that can be substituted for required course textbooks. We can work with you to generate a list of suggested titles using your campus course adoption data.

Recommended Criteria: Digital Rights Management (DRM) free; unlimited use; perpetual access

  • YBP GOBI eBook Purchases
LOUIS libraries can purchase eBooks through EBSCO's YBP GOBI interface. LOUIS will pay the invoice on your behalf. YBP eBooks are easily discoverable through the EDS Faculty Portal.
  • Individual eBook Purchases
LOUIS libraries can purchase eBooks through other vendors of their choice. LOUIS will reimburse the library for the cost of the book(s) upon receipt of an invoice.
